To Export Folder Security Settings to an Excel File

Select a folder or
work area.

In the
Preview Pane, select the
Access
Control
tab and click the
Export Permissions icon.
The Export Security Settings dialog opens.

In the
Export Security Settings dialog, do the
following:
- Click Browse to set a name, export location, and file type for the Excel file (file type options are XLS, XLSX, and CSV).

Set how many levels of folder security to export:
To export the security settings from the current folder or work area and all its subfolders and sub-work areas, keep All Levels turned ON.
or
To export the security settings from just the current folder or work area (and none of its subfolders or sub-work areas), turn OFF All Levels, and in the Levels field enter a value of 1.
or
To export the security settings from the current folder or work area, and also those from the first level of subfolders and/or sub-work areas directly below it, turn off All Levels, and in the Levels field enter a value of 2.
Increase the value in the Levels field to export security settings from additional levels of subfolders and sub-work areas as necessary.

OK.
